School Counseling Center (Guidance)

What is the School Counseling Center?
The School Counselors, Mr. Helfrich (5-8) and Mrs. Nase (preschool-4) will assist students to develop positive self-esteem, understand themselves and others, build positive peer relations, express themselves and their feelings, and make good choices and decisions academically, socially and emotionally.

Students can ask to meet with the counselors. Counselors may meet with students individually or in a group. Parents and staff may consult with the counselors about a student and/or refer a student. Counselors can help parents with referrals to outside counselors if this is helpful in meeting a student’s individual needs.

Regular classroom lessons at each grade level teach and reinforce positive social and emotional skills.

Notice to Parents:

If you need to email any information to the office concerning your child, instead of emailing an individual secretary please email to this address:
This will assure that your message will reach more than one person in our office in case someone is absent. Thank you.
